Microscopic pictures from tracheal mass shows a tumor composed of monomorphic small round cells arranged in sheets (a; H&E, 100×), tumor shows immunopositivity for epithelial membrane antigen (EMA) (b; 100×), bcl2 (c; 200×), MIC2 (d; 200×), and TLE1 (e; 100×). Interphase fluorescent in-situ hybridization for translocation (X;18) (SYT Vysis break-apart probe) shows a separation of the 5′ and 3′ SYT signals in many of the tumor cell nuclei (arrows)
