Histopathological findings: Sections show a hypercellular tumor composed mostly of round to polygonal cells with round monotonous/isometric nuclei and moderate eosinophilic granular cytoplasm. The cells are arranged in solid sheets and occasionally form small nests and pseudo-follicles. No intervening adipose tissue is seen. A remnant of thymic tissue appears at one edge. The overall feature perfectly fits a parathyroid adenoma
